eBooks Compiler Options


Here you will assign the title to your ebook, enter the content of the about page and set the ebook window parameters.

eBook Title - Type in the name of your ebook in the text field.


Custom About Page Setup - Here you can include information about your ebook such your ebook's title, your name as the author, your copyright information, your URL information, and your email address.


The custom about page also allows you to include images. For example, if you want to you can link to resources of your ebook. You must use the following format:


<img src=http://ebook_host/anyimage.gif>


Simply replace 'anyimage.gif' with the image in your ebook. Note: In this case 'ebook_host' is neccesary for the keyword to locate the image from your ebook, after 'ebook_host' add the path to the resource in your eBook.


You can also add a link to an outside page. For example, if you add the following:
<img src=http://www.ebookscompiler.com/image/screen_shot.jpg>
Here http://www.ebookscompiler.com/image/screen_shot.jpg is the path to your image.

Size - Enter the size for your ebook. The first text field is the width and the second text text field is the height. Recommended window size is 800 x 600 pixels.


Maximized - Check this box to have the ebook run in maximzed window mode


eBook Resizable - Check this box and the user will have the option to resize the ebook window


Enable Context Menu - Check this box to allow the customer to use the 'right click' options. This will give the customer access to view the ebook's html source of pages or copy a content of pages.
Note: If you want to protect your context and make it impossible for the customer to use the "right-click" options usually available.  Do not check this box and no right-click menu will appear.


Load eBook Icon Button - This feature allows you to brand your ebook onto another person's computer. Your icon will be associated with your ebook file. The icon image must be 32x32 pixels in size. If you want to use this option, you must use an icon file (.ico). (These are easy to find and download from the Internet. Search for "free icons" using any search engine.) To use this option, click the Load eBook Icon button and you will see the following window:
